Terms of service
Clear expectations, on both sides of the loop.
Effective 12 October 2026The agreement.
These terms govern PositionLoop, operated by 24 HOUR POSITIONING PTY LTD, NSW 2067, Australia (“we”, “us”). Questions, complaints and notices can be sent to hello@positionloop.com. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Purchases also carry the disclosures shown before you authorise payment.
What PositionLoop provides.
PositionLoop is hosted software for observing Google organic search positions for selected keywords, countries, languages and supported devices. It provides queued ranking checks, up to 90 days of history, weekly summaries and CSV export within the free-trial allowance or your query-credit balance. Search depth is up to 100 organic results, subject to the provider’s coverage. An unreturned result is not proof that a website has disappeared from all searches.
Results vary by market, device, search changes and provider availability. Tracking does not guarantee a rank, traffic, sales or an SEO outcome. Homepage examples are illustrative, not verified customer achievements. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
Your account and use.
You must be at least 18, give accurate account information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for authorised use of your account and for having the rights needed to use the domains and keywords you submit.
Do not use the service unlawfully, infringe others’ rights, attempt to access another account, evade limits, share access to bypass account allowances, overload the service or interfere with its security. Reasonable ordinary use is permitted. Contact us if you suspect misuse of your account.
Credit packs, trial and payment.
One-time query credit packs are published as USD $4.99 / 100 credits, $24.99 / 600 and $49.99 / 1,500. Each purchase adds to the account balance. Unused purchased credits have no expiry date; there is no subscription, automatic renewal or automatic top-up. The full amount, taxes and payment provider are disclosed before you pay. Shopify checkout is available at buy.positionloop.com. The credit pack purchase policy forms part of these terms.
One credit covers one completed ranking check for one website, keyword, country, language and supported device combination, including internal result pages. A valid result outside the checked top-100 range counts; a technical failure does not. Viewing or exporting existing records does not use credits. Automated paid checking requires your opt-in and use the same balance; a zero balance pauses paid checks.
The separate free trial lasts seven days after email verification, with one website and ten tracking items and daily checks. It requires no card and does not automatically become paid. Free-trial time and 90-day history retention do not set an expiry on purchased credits.
Refunds and account closure.
Our 14-day refund policy covers each separate credit pack purchase, including later top-ups. A refund reverses remaining credits attributable to the refunded purchase; unrelated purchase balances are preserved. Choosing not to buy again has no fee. Account closure is a separate request. Applicable statutory remedies and withdrawal rights remain available.
Availability and records.
During the free trial, checks are scheduled daily. Paid checks are funded by query credits, with automatic paid checking requiring your opt-in. Checks may be delayed by queues, maintenance, retries or supplier failures. Failed checks are marked rather than fabricated. We make reasonable efforts to maintain service, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or a specific update time. Report a fault so we can investigate and provide any applicable remedy.
History is retained for 90 days. Export records you need to keep. Trial expiry, a depleted paid credit balance or suspension stops further checks; retained records remain subject to the usual retention policy. The digital delivery policy explains access and technical requirements.
Suspension, closure and changes.
We may restrict an account when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, a security threat, a serious breach or a disputed or unauthorised credit purchase. Where practical, we explain the reason and give an opportunity to resolve it. We do not use suspension to remove a valid refund entitlement.
You may request account closure by contacting us. We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice and provide a refund for prepaid service we do not supply where required. Material term changes are notified before taking effect; price changes affect future purchases only and do not reduce credits already purchased.
Rights, responsibility and disputes.
Our software, branding and website remain owned or licensed by us; your submitted information remains yours. You grant us the permissions necessary to process that information to supply the service, as described in the privacy policy. Third-party software and assets retain their applicable licences.
We are responsible for providing the service with the care and skill required by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or a consumer guarantee that cannot legally be excluded, or prevents you from seeking a mandatory remedy. Australian Consumer Law and any applicable EU, UK or other non-waivable consumer rights take priority over inconsistent terms.
New South Wales law governs this agreement to the extent permitted, without removing the mandatory protections or court rights available where you live. Contact us first if you wish to resolve a dispute; doing so is not a condition of exercising another legal or payment-provider right.
